bailey's irish creme

hhmmm…add to some JAMESON’s and drop into a pint o’GUINNESS…

CARBOMB !!!

Yeah, Bailey’s will curdle eventually. My mom had some that did. I think it must have been several years old. Bailey’s doesn’t get that old at my house, so I doubt I will ever witness the phenomenon again.

My husband once got some cheap knock-off Irish cream (never again)…the bottle suggested that you keep it in the refrigerator after opening.

I’m pretty sure it says on the bottle “Best consumed within six months of opening”, in the UK at least.

A couple of years ago, I tried a fabulous swiss chocolate liquer, the name of which I can’t quite remember (it was in french). All I can remember is that the bottle was golden in colour, and the colour of the liquid is not unlike Baileys Irish Creme. Anybody knows what I’m talking about??

You are thinking of Godet Beligian White Chocolate Liqueur, perhaps? The bottle is a goldish-white.

I was thinking of Amarula. Good stuff, similar to, but nicer than Bailey’s IMHO.

It’s good (for one little drink) but its too sickly sweet for me. I’ll stick to the Bailey’s.

The first time I tasted Amarula was in South Africa and I decided to bring a bottle home. Got it all the wayback to NI, via Frankfurt and London, only to drop the bag and smash the bottle getting out of a taxi about 10 metres from my front door. I could have cried. :frowning:

Mozart? the bottle is covered in gold foil or something, IIRC.
