Things you can say about your house, but not about your significant other

  1. Cost 'way more than I was willing to pay at first.
  2. Just a starter, will upgrade when I can afford it.
  3. Believe it or not, I prefer to use the back door.
  4. It’ll take more than a coat of paint to make her look good again.
  5. It was too much for me to take care of on my own, so I hired some help.
  6. Smaller would be nice.

Drove through there this afternoon, in fact. A canyon-esque area amidst the farmland of northwestern Kansas. Accessible only by a gravel road.

Considered one of the world’s largest gas stations. It has a nearby hotel and post office, and is in the middle of absolutely fuckin’ nowhere. Its theme is penguins, and it has an ice cream shoppe, and boasts of having the cleanest restrooms on its highway. (And they’re right.)

I talked about this place today during work at 7-Eleven. I can’t remember in what context.
