It’s safe to assume that in roughly one-third of the US, the weather on Christmas Day will not be conducive to going outside to use your gift. I know… my sister and I both got new 3-speed bikes for Christmas in 1969 (we were junior high-school age), and weren’t able to use them until mid-March.

I got this last year at a white elephant exchange. Somehow, those two fish survived my bicycle ride home but ended up in my neighbor’s turtle/fish tank. I don’t know what happened after that.
