And a vote for restoring Izaak Walton. Surely fishing counts as a sport, and while he may not have been a champion fisherman, his book The Compleat Angler, as “a celebration of the art and spirit of fishing in prose and verse”, has been a heroic inspiration to fishermen for centuries.
