About Pelota, it’s closely related to jai alai, which may sound more familiar.
I can’t find a reference for this on Google, but I know that I read decades ago that the right hand of St Francis Xavier (who was Basque) shows characteristic deformations caused by extensive pelota playing. Use of the left hand in pelota is not allowed.
