I don’t have anything else to add to the list; I just wanted to say abso-fucking-lutley for baseball. Opening Day I take the day off work and put John Fogarty’s **Centerfield **on auto-repeat.

Why Opening Day is not a national holiday, I don’t understand. I don’t mean the made-for-TV ESPN Sunday “opening day,” but the traditional Monday Opening Day.

While I put baseball on the list, I’ll admit I don’t have your enthusiasm for the sport. But I am aware that games are being played and that for me is a sign of spring. Just as the awareness that football games are being played is a sign of autumn.
