True story - I had an employee come tell me at the start of his shift that he had to leave immediately for an emergency.
His dad was in their garage changing the tires on his old Toyota Land Cruiser when it fell off the jack.
When I asked what hospital they were taking him to, he looked at me funny, so I asked if his dad was OK. He’s fine, he wasn’t even in the garage when it happened.
Anyone else hurt? No.
Damage to house? Garage? Fire? Nope.
So I asked what was so important he had leave. He looked at me baffled and says “I have to go check on my car!”

To top things off, I found out later that this had actually happened just before he left for work that day.
