Come to think of it, I’ve heard “the Vatican,” but not “the Vatican City.” Anyone else?

I’ve heard Vatican City, the Vatican City, and the Vatican. Ironically, none of them is correct if you’re referring to the country. The official name of the country is the Holy See. The Vatican City is the city governed by the Holy See.
