The tigers used in this 1964 Disney film were Serang and Sultan, owned and trained by Exotic Animal Trainer Ralph Helfer

Not appointing myself a judge, but I would consider CGI a form of animation. If Garfield were played by a real-life cat and other characters were CGI then it would be acceptable, but since Garfield is played by a CGI animated character, I would vote no.
