What are Some of Your Favorite Sports Memories?

  1. 2010 SF Giants finally win the World Series. It was a long wait for us, and I sprayed chilled champagne in the back yard that night.
  2. 2016 World Series game 7. Even though I’m an Indians fan, that game was utterly thrilling. I was happy for the Cubs.
  3. 2017 World Series game 7. Even though I’m not an Astros fan, that game was utterly thrilling. I was happy for the Astros.
  4. Attending the San Jose Sharks’ first-ever Stanley Cup final round game win in 2016.
  5. Watching Affirmed win the Triple Crown by beating Alydar by a nose in the Belmont.
  6. Watching the Mets win in 1969. I grew up a mile from Shea. Plus that year Namath and th Super Bowl and in a few months the Knicks. A glorious time to be 10 years old in NYC.
  7. Going to one of the US Open Preliminary days in 1990. Many top tennis players of that era were there practicing, including Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, Jimmy Connors and Jim Courier.
