Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Orlando, FL
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Niagara Falls, New York
Tampa, Florida
Washington DC
Vernon Valley / Great Gorge Ski Resort, NJ (currently called Mountain Creek)
Poorly designed and maintained area, icy, ungroomed trails and obnoxious, sketchy skiers (cutting in line, screaming at their kids, stealing food from the cafeteria)
Sorry to hate on NJ as with Atlantic City above (which I also disliked due to sketchy vacationers and a poorly maintained area). I know many lovely NJ people, but in these 2 spots they seemed determined to uphold the stereotype of NJ being full of loud & rude jerks

El Paso Texas
Salem, MA, especially the Witch Museum and Wax Museum
Daytona Beach, Florida
Total tourist trap, went during spring break in college and the town was full of drunk, entitled assholes, the hotel seemed unprepared for the sudden influx of guests all trying to check in Saturday morning. Beach was nice and the beer was fine but it was a long way to drive just to drink a lot.

Cannes, France
I spent four days there, using it as a hub to visit other towns. Cannes itself is filled with trendy cafes and boutiques and all that relates to the film festival. In short, very little that interested me. They do have a pretty harbor and beach, though.
