Pleeeeeeeeease stop juicing Kiwis! It makes the people scream and the birds squawk in alarm! Kiwifruit don’t mind being juiced even a tiny bit, but they do get upset about being mislabeled as a person or a bird. I would have to agree that KiwiFRUIT and Carrot juice is all good though.

LMAO THespos! Though for me the big laugh came at imagining you snacking on entire sides of beef.
Bananas are fantastic in juices and smoothies - they add texture and make them much more filling. But yeah, you’d have to use the blender, and it’s best to chop the nanas up first.
IME, crayon-yellow bananas are best for smoothies as well as for eating raw and in salads and things. The over-ripe brownish bananas are perfect for baking, and the underripe greenish ones and best for other kinds of cooking. Lemon juice is only necessary to stop the banana going black if you peel it before you freeze it (a banana frozen in its skin will blacken but the fruit is fine).
Personally I’d say if you want to drink now and then, let yourself. And spirits have the best calorie-to-alcohol ratio of all alcoholic beverages. Perhaps you could even make a banana mary? Considering romansperson’s story, it might not be a bad idea!
Please forward me their first CD, and a mention in the liner notes would be nice, too.
MMMM Ass.
…On day 4 I died. I am writing this posthumously for your benefit.
I have to say, I love bananas. I used to be one of those that could not stand them - especially the smell. But, for some reason, one day they didn’t bother me any more - and I had my first banana. Yum.
Frozen bananas are the best in smoothies - they add a wonderful thickness. My favorite smoothie is 1 cup milk (I use 1%), half of a banana, cut in chunks & frozen, and one peeled KiwiFRUIT. The cookbook that I got it from called it a sunrise smoothie, I believe. It’s a wonderful texture.
