Actually, the OP is just looking for bands that are not appearing as themselves.
d’oah! didn’t read carefully enough! most bands i listed aren’t usually identified in the movie in question, i typically had to do some research to figure out who it actually was. don’t have the time to go back thru the comps and figure out which ones tho!

Damn, I loved that movie. I don’t think it’s ever come out on video (well, VHS maybe) and I don’t think the various cable channels are interested in digging up a master. I don’t think I’ve seen in it in like 30 years.
There’s something about a movie that features a six-foot anthropomorphic joint that just can’t go wrong.
