I don’t think so. Linda Danielle left Joey for Johnny in 1982 and married him in 1984. Though I’m sure it was one more reason for Joey to despise Johnny, he already had a laundry list of those before that and the band didn’t break up until 1996. Joey was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and I suspect that was by far the more pressing issue for the band’s dissolution.
Basically it may have destroyed any semblance of a friendship between the two, but they really wasn’t much of that to begin with. It seems Joey was tolerated with low tension by Johnny until Joey overcame his shyness to develop some assertiveness and once that happened seems like they never fully got on again. They were very, very different people who somehow managed to sublimate a shitty personal relationship into a very tense, but marginally successful work relationship.

Bjorn & Agnetha were married for quite a while and had a son and a daughter. They later split up, he married another woman and had two more daughters.
Benny & Frida’s story is much more complicated. He had fathered a son and daughter (first one when he was 15!) but never married him. Frida had a son, got married, and had a daughter. She left her family when she met Benny and lived with him for ten years before they got married.
A year later, Benny met another woman, he divorced Frida, married the other woman and had a son. Frida got the last laugh: Her third marriage was to an Italian prince who was extremely wealthy.
That’s a little hard to believe. Ferry does not seem like the type of guy to do that. And I think Brian Eno has a much bigger ego, of the two.
Women love that combination of ego and confidence. No mystery there.
I’m not doubting that Eno may have “gotten more girls” than Ferry. I’m doubting that Ferry would be vindictive about it to the point of pressuring Eno to leave Roxy Music.
“He kicked me out because the girls liked me too much and he was jealous” is exactly the kind of claim that a narcissistic egomaniac would make.
