banned from du for liking gary johnson

I was banned from democratic underground for liking gary Johnson and I like it.(song t the tune I kissed a girl and I like it ) do u like it? do u support gary Johnson?

My kids would refuse to answer you “until you learned not to use idiotic abbreviations”.
(My kids! I know, surprised me, too. They can be plenty lazy and I thought they’d go 4 Teh Abbrevs)

As a Libertarian, I think America would be better off with Hillary in office than “gary Johnson”. But I’m assuming you said more on “du” than liking “gary”*

*[sic] – Seriously, did yo’ mama read e.e.cummings out loud while she was pregnant with u? :}

Nice to see that on one occasion, you found the shift key. The DU makes no bones about it, they’re supporting Hillary and they don’t have an obligation to give space to contrarians. There are right wing sites that are similarly restrictive, I for one was blocked from the Facebook page IStillHateObama.

Gary Johnson represents all things Koch and the rest of the modern-day robber barons, so no, I actively do NOT support him.

From wikipedia: “Democratic Underground, also known as DU, is an online community for U.S. Democrats. Its membership is restricted by policy to those who are supportive of the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates for political office.”

Wikipedia then links to their Terms of Service.

Props to DU for keeping their policies explicit. Brickbats to the argument in the OP: I see no virtue in signing up at a website and violating its terms of service.
For reference, here is Red State’s TOS. I only skimmed it, but ISTM that their habit of banning people they don’t agree with isn’t reflected in the TOS. No harm, no foul, but no props for transparency either. http://www.redstate.com/tos/

Try saying anything on Conservapedia that Andrew Schlafly doesn’t like.

Well, most of that stuff about his Mom as a Shanghai waterfront hooker is exaggerated.

His mom’s voice doesn’t echo; nobody knows why.

I’m opposed to Gary Johnson because his philosophy is inimical to a just and free society. Thinking otherwise is grossly naïve.
