I am looking for the web site where you can put in a Bar Code # and it will tell you who the manufacturer is of the item you have. I have tried looking under the brand name of clothing, but cannot find it and I know you can do this by entering the bar code#. I use to have the web site but lost it…can some one HELP ME!!!

That site appears to be just as good as people submit, I checked a few from my company and found typos and even the wrong company name on one item! But if the company you are looking for has any items entered there, you may get lucky.
The UPC Number prefix is assigned to the company marketing and selling the item, so the actual manufacturer may not be available through the barcode if it was subcontracted, as many clothing item are.
Not implying any intent here, but just recently a barcode site was shut down because its purpose appeared to be to allow people to print them onto blank labels, take them to the store, and put cheaper ones over top of the real ones!
