How can one find the Actual Manufacturer of a product being sold under a generic
or private label?

What are you trying to suss out?

The maker of electrical / electronic equipment with a UL listing can often be found by searching with the listing number - for example, if I plug ul e209052 into Google, I find that the power supply for one of my external hard drives was made by someone called Welland Industrial.

For food, try searching on who makes xxxx For example, who makes safeway dog food brings up The Pet Food List, which says Doane Pet Care makes pet food for Safeway and a lot of other grocery chains.

Beyond that, it can get tough and may involve patient searching

Sounds like something that would have an MSDS. (Material Safety Data Sheet) You can probably get your desired info from that.

I have the MSDS’s on all the products from the reseller but I can’t seem to find any
linking info that leads me to the source. Maybe i have overlooked something. Will
take another closer look.
