Baseball: Come-from-behind wins

Listening to the American League Championship Series, I keep hearing about how the Yankees led the AL in “come-from-behind” wins. So what exactly constitutes coming from behind? Technically, if one team scores a run in the first inning, and then the other team scores two in the second inning, and no more runs are scored, the second team has come from behind to win.

I suspect there is more to it than that?

Nope. All it means that the opposing team was ahead at some point in the game.

Actually, come-from-behind wins may not always be such a good thing. It may mean that your pitchers are coughing up a lot of runs which the hitters then have to make up. Its probably better to just get ahead at the beginning and stay ahead all the way.
