One of the more unique canoes displayed for the upcoming second annual Loveland Small Stacks, the Batanoe, is on display in front of the Loveland Police Station on Lebanon Road.

This Small Stacks “Batanoe” is the creation of Ed Turner and his son, Jimmy. After weeks of creative brainstorming, cutting, grinding, drilling and painting, the tribute to one of America’s most popular television crime fighter’s was born. The Turner house is nestled snug on a quiet cul-de-sac in a quiet Loveland neighborhood. Who knew what those odd sounds coming from the garage would reveal?

"If you were real quiet and listened close you could almost hear the familiar theme: “Nana, Nana, Nana, Nana Batman!” or even the call “To the Batcave!” Ed Turner said. “Except in this case it was: to the garage Jimmy.”
