They fellate, but are not unexpected.
Make positive waves. Repeat after me, “Ron Moore would not do that to us. Ron Moore would not do that to us.” ad infinitum.
if any of those spoilers are true, well, frack… I just don’t know.
What about the pardon? President Roslin granted a grant general pardon to everyone for crimes committed on New Caprica. She declared a general amnesty regradless of what any individual did. Sure she probably thought Baltar was dead, but she did issue the pardon. Why no mention of the pardon? Is the law that different for the colonies (as opposed to America/Britian, the primary audience for the show) that a pardon can just be taken back at some point?
Baltar was pardoned. He deserves to go free.
Her pardon was to anyone “in the fleet”… at that time, Baltar was not “in the fleet”…
We shall have to ask the prosecutor to investigate whether spoilers are admissable in court under Caprican law.
The problem is do people want Baltar dead , or do they want justice. In my humble opinion the transfer of the nuclear device to an ilegal alien, transporting it without approriate safety measures in place for a hazmat situation, failing to procure an end user certificate is the cleanest possible charge that can be laid against Baltar.
The man is the finest mind the colonys have at the moment and killin him seems to be a waste, having him rot in a cell available to solve any problem scientific that comes humanitys way would seem to be a more suitable solution , than to simply space him.
If you assert that the rising star is still spaceborne , perhaps you can direct me to the position that it is holding in the fleet.
Declan
It’s just over there. See? (points out the starboard window)
The Rising Star is still with us. The nuked vessel was the Cloud Nine. The ships lost during “The Passage” were the Adriatic and the Carina.
Additional spoiler rumor about the trial:
“What is known is two things: One, a major character that we all know will be revealed as a Cylon on the stand during Baltar’s trial. And, yes, you guessed it, Baltar will be found not guilty as a result. Does this reverse the legality of Baltar being stripped of the presidency? What other major surprises await us in the finale? One is described as being the start of a whole new story arc. You’ll just have to wait to see.”
I don’t see how this fits with the other spoiler I linked to, but we shall see.
That fits pretty well with what I expect to happen. At this point, I’m gonna watch the last three episodes of the season no matter what RDM does. Whether I tune in for the movie and/or Season 4 is yet to be determined…but the various spoilers do sound considerably better that the crap we’ve seen lately.
We really do.
Damn those spoiler sites! Damn my eyes! For what it’s worth, I don’t believe half the stuff from that link.
I haven’t highlighted your spoiler box, and I haven’t clicked the spoiler link above. I just want to express (a) my appreciation that the discussion of this material has been concealed so those of us who want to remain unspoiled can do so in the midst of this very interesting and entertaining thread, and (b) my fervent hope that this practice continues.
Pretty sure it will. The Doper BSG fans are pretty considerate about such stuff, especially major spoilers…offsetting snarking penalties committed earlier in the thread not withstanding. Though I will confess that in a moment of anger, I’d actually posted an open spoiler about the recent Big Thing they did because I was mad at Lissener. Decided it was too dickish even for me, and was glad I changed my mind before the edit timer expired.
