But if they are it would probably solidify my creeping feeling last season that I’m about done wtih the show.
Nor does “share intimate secrets” imply in any way whatsoever that they’re going to hook up.
Sheldon’s idea of an “intimate secret” is probably different from most people’s.
I’m sure it will involve AFF and professional interests. Penny and Sheldon will bond, Sheldon will open up with some genuine feelings, Amy will get jealous, and Leonard will return with all sorts of fun stories about working for Hawking and that will make Sheldon jealous.
If you recall at the start of last season Penny was in bed with Raj. That didn’t go anywhere, and neither will this, IMHO. BUT Penny does put up with more shit from Sheldon than she does anybody else, and Sheldon is as close to Penny as he is to anybody, and will do things for her just because she’s his friend, so…
