What were “the Hondas?”
ETA: Just for the fun of it - Remember when you spilled Coke all over your blouse?
Even though I never realized that “Honda” was actually the lyric, it seems to me that it’s obviously referencing Honda motorcycles. Honda started exporting motorcycles to America in 1959.
I’d say it almost certainly refers to the motorcycle, since their song “Little Honda,” which refers to it as a “groovy little motorbike” was also on the same album.
