Who said it was “spontaneous”? they obviously set it up to film. It doesn’t mean the dog wasn’t acting cute. It’s a beagle. Beagles are cute.

My beagle had a river rock she used to play with like this. We had to hide it from her most of the time, we worried she’d break a tooth if she kept biting it and carrying it around. Beagles is silly.
True to some extent, but it loses some of whimsy when it is staged. Capturing a spontaneous moment on video can be very cute. Carefully crafting a “cute” moment and then videotaping it is not the same. With all of the coverage they did here, I was expecting to see a POV shot and a reaction shot of a cat rolling his eyes as he looked down at the dog. The use of multiple cameras and heavy editing took me out of the moment.
JKilez - Well, they put an orange down, record the dogs reaction and edited it for the Youtube video. I’d hardly call that faking the Apollo moon landing. They knew their dog would do something cute with the orange and recorded it. But if you don’t like it, don’t watch.

StGermain - Well, I commented on a Youtube video that seemed oddly contrived because it used multiple cameras and editing for what appeared to be a simple puppy moment. I would hardly call that demanding that the creators be brought to justice for fraud. It seemed a little off-putting, so I made a remark about it. If you do not like knowing other people’s opinions, do not post on a message-board.
Well I thought it was cute. The lemon one was even cuter.

Hey, I thought I recognized that beagle from a production of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”. He’s a ringer; a professional canine actor. He probably has a SAG card and everything.
He does a good job. Cute, competent, always on his mark–he is like a furry Dakota Fanning. There is nothing wrong with cute puppy porn. I heard that many famous canines got their start that way. 
When I was kid, we had a pug that would go bat shit crazy whenever someone peeled a tangerine. Normal Dog around other fruits including oranges, but into a raging maniac when he smelled a Tangerine.
A beagle with an orange may be cute, but what about a hyena with a pumpkin?
