But maybe you aren’t deployed and are home in Tampa, at least for a bit.

It’s good, yeah. It’s a better deal at lunch, cause it’s only ten bucks, but it’s still good. Even the sushi (which as a buffet item scares me a little) is pretty good.
We go usually around once a month or so.
Last night was a little disappointing – wasn’t quite as high quality as usual – but we all have our off nights.
I think he was talking about his new gun purchase in a recent gun thread. And he included pictures at a gun range where the wife was shooting. (Was she as hot in real life as she looked like in that picture? Sorry Bear. I’m weak for brunettes.)
Maybe that’s why a review referred to it as The Bipolar Buffet.
Here is a thread where he mentioned that he had bought a gun the week before. Post dated 4/2. So I think he’s around. Here is the aforementioned brunette. Maybe it’s not just the brunette part that gets me. It’s the “Brunette that can shoot” part that gets me.

Damn, I knew that was you. My seat was facing the lobby through a little opening in the wall and I saw you and your friends waiting there. I was thinking, “Man, that’s [MT]. I’m sure of it.” I even had a conversation with my wife, telling her I think that’s a guy I went to college with and who posts on the SDMB. She just rolled her eyes and complained about how much time I spend on that “stupid dope message board”.
I guess I wasn’t sure enough to go say something.
As for my deployment, it started in October and I still have 7 months left of it. I am in town for 18 days on R&R. Unfortunately for me, those 18 days end on Wednesday! I am flying back Thursday. Vacation is going well, but expensive!
That’s pretty cool. We need like a gang sign or something we can throw up in public to signify that we’re Dopers.

You guys have to use the trick my mom taught me. I’m sure I’m not the only one. You get to a point somewhere behind the person in question and say, “That looks like _________.” If it’s the right person they’ll recognize their name and turn around. If not, they don’t know you’re talking about them.
Oh, and Bear_Nenno, I hope the rest of your deployment goes by safely and quickly.
