Beasts of Rev. 13 - Arafat and his Prime Minister

Well… Actually it is my conviction that only God decides about my life and death, be it on earth or be it in the afterlife.
Besides that: Muslims don’t believe in spiritual “death” as result of blasphemy, disbelief, whatever. No Muslim who is a bit informed about his religion shall show the arrogance to tell other people that they are “death”.
Muslims believe that in any case only God knows what is in people’s mind and heart.

So you see, once again you deliver proof that you take yourself for God.
There are two possibilities left here:

  1. You profile yourself as yet again a new Christian sect leader/prophet. Spread Your Word. Mention while spreading Your Word also that God asks your followers to put their money on your bank account, so that you can spread Your Word by all means possible. It is something you can take the USA as an example for. Sects pop up and flourish like mushrooms overthere, and so do their leaders.
That is the perfect example for you to follow. I really think you have a great future in that business. You should work a bit on your style though.

  2. You make an appointment with a professional to learn how to make normal use of your brain and rive all your delusions of being God out of it. When that is done, you are ready to study - and live - Christianity as it is.

This guy (OP) sounds like a recently converted Jehovahs Witness(JW). I’ve got nothing against JW’s, mind you (a good Roach-Motel does wonders). They get all fiery about some Sermon they heard in church and feel the need to Whallop the non-believers into belief (or senslessness).
For a great analogy of where this kind of thing leads, OP, I’d advise “Small Gods” by the Master (Terry Pratchett).

The Great God OM (Holy Horns!) : I got some infidels to smite!

Also, Jesus distincly (at least according to the King James) specified that he was NOT God. Son of Man wring any Bells?

When your interpretation of Revelations fails, will you return to the Straight Dope and say you were wrong? I’m curious how much personal integrity you have.

In case you didn´t take the time to read the SDMB rules, wishing death on someone is not allowed.

“Your words sentence you to death”… smug fundamentalist indeed.

Nah, he’ll just accept that some of the facts were misinterpreted and that the date just needs to be pushed back a year or two, or fifty.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Hell would be an ice cream social compared to Heaven with this kind of believer and his god.

In fairness to the guy, I don’t think he’s wishing death on anybody, just stating what he believes to be a fact.

I wonder if he’s ever met Johnny Hart?

Yes i will.

ephraim, are you never plagued by self-doubt? How do you know that what you so strongly believe is actually the truth?

You see these horns go to ELEVEN.

I asked a legitimate question or two on the first page of the thread and you never answered. Please do.

Can one sincerely believe as an act of will? I can see how one could choose to pretend to believe, but sincere belief is something you either have, or don’t - which makes it a little unfair to use it as a qualifier for something so important as eternal life, doesn’t it?

I am a bit surprized that nobody has noticed this one:

That makes Bush one of the kings of "the beast empire”; by invading and occupying Iraq and made himself the de facto ruler of that nation. I have some idea that there are a few Muslims here and there on this globe who would say that the description of Bush as a King of a Beast Empire is dead-on.

In addition he makes Bush a Muslim. Never heard about that. Anyone with more detailed infor on this?

Of course I also wonder which “Islamic Empire” he talks about exactly. As historian I’m extremely fascinated to hear that there is an Islamic Empire once again.
Add to this that the Breaking News about it comes from The Divine Source hiding under a humble SDMB membername, you can imagine how excited this sounds to me.

Arafat is the inspiration of the seven heads and ten horns. The seven heads represent seven countries or nations while the horns represent kings. Three of these kings are subdued by the beast (Arafat), who is also the little horn. Nowhere does it say that the subdued kings can’t all be from the same country. During the 7 years of the peace process Arafat caused the Israeli people to vote in and out Prime Ministers based on the ebb and flow of the peace process. After Rabin was assassinated, Peres took office and was quickly voted out. Netanyahu took his place because the Israelis feared their security situation. Soon after that he lost, because while he was in, the peace process stalled. Barak was elected to restart the peace process but it also stalled and in Sept 2000 the Palestinians started commiting acts of terrorism. Ariel Sharon came to power because the Israeli people again feared their security. He is still in office and has been fighting terrorism every since. So Arafat has caused Peres ,Netanyahu, and Barak to be voted out of office in hopes of acheiving peace with the Palestinians. I say that the third is Ariel Sharon though because he will most likely be Prime Minister when Jerusalem is lost. Peres just took the place of Rabin and was never elected, he lost the election to Netanyahu. Daniel 7:24 states that there will be ten kings and another shall arise after them and he shall subdue three kings. I say Arafat is the eleventh because he arises after the other ten. He is their inspiration and they all want nothing less than the destruction of Israel. Therefore when I say Arafat is the beast with seven heads and ten horns I mean that he is their symbolic leader. He is the little horn or little country. He is the eleventh and is their inspirational leader.

My head is still spining, but are you saying Sharon is a minion of Arafat?

Ephraim, I’ll repeat my question. Why should I discard what God has revealed to me for what you say He has revealed to you?

Surely a man of your faith and wisdom will answer the question of a fellow Christian who has treated you with respect?

CJ

Please don’t bother asking this question again. I will not answer it. It is a private thing to me. You have said you are a Christian, that is good enough. I came to deliver a message and that is what I have done. Consider what I have said and when you see it come about just remember what has been said… Ephraim

No. This parable shows how the beast nations deal with the State of Israel.
Three kings are subdued or discharged from duty while the seven nations will
come against Israel to try and destroy them… It will be similar to what happened
in 1967.

If it’s private, why on earth do you choose to visit it upon us?

Now will you answer any of the 5 question I have put to you?

Or are you just yanking our chains, pretending to be a wild-eyed prophet slash loony?

And please explain to the fascinated audience where you place Bush, the de facto ruler of Iraq, among the Kings of the Best Empire?

And since when is Bush Muslim?

And where and when shall I see the New Islamic Empire surfacing?

You are good in inventing and posting doom-scenario-Islam-hating-nonsense, but not good in answering questions who shade a bit of light on your darkness, isn’t it.

That has as only effect that it becomes rather obvious that option 2 in my post #92 should be considered by you.

Salaam. A

No thank you. I’ll just add you to the two millenia long list of false prophets who glorify themselves, not God and who condemn others out of human arrogance. I’m afraid you’ll find, “You’ll see I’m right” is not an adequate defense around this message board.
