I had the same kind of experience when I saw the first Keaton Batman film the day after it opened at Mann’s Chinese. Something about a packed house full of people who are really there for the movie makes it a hell of a lot more fun.
But I don’t begrudge those who would rather have their experience in the privacy of their own home, either.
