Beatles fans: Replace Lennon and Harrison for a new Beatles tour.

I’ve always thought Julian Lennon sounds eerily like John. And I think Eric Clapton would be a worthy stand-in for George. So the lineup for Beatles II…
Julian
Paul
Eric
Ringo

Doesn’t quite have the ring of John-Paul-George-n-Ringo does it?
But I’ll bet they’d make a good sound.

They’d better hurry though, I sometimes wonder how much longer Paul is going to be around. Ringo? he just seems kinda ageless. He’ll probably be the last Beatle standing…

I’ve long thought that would be an awesome supergroup, too. But in my mind, they tour under the name “Who’s Left?”

George: Tom Petty
John: David Bowie

Cleverer than mine. Brah-vo.
(But I would buy tickets to the Clapton-Julian-Paul-Ringo band, too)

Neil Young for John Lennon
Eric Clapton for George Harrison

No, that was Richard Pryor’s very short-lived network TV show.

Robin Zander and Rick Nielson.

Would that be “The Cheatles”?

These are awesome suggestions.

These are also quite awesome.

And now for my 2 cents:

John: Neil Young (sorry for stealing, but he’s just perfect) OR Petty
George: Prince

That link is to Petty singing While My Guitar Gently Weeps (with others), and then Prince comes in and blows the roof off the place with one of the sickest solos I’ve ever seen.

Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh.
Ladies and gentlemen, The Beagles!

For the sake of argument, Stephen Stills and Robbie Robertson.
