Beauty in Chaos and Frailty

I just finished watching Requiem for a Dream. The movie touched me in a lot of ways.

So my question here is, what sorts of things that are ugly, chaotic, or necessarily considered in a negative light, do you find beautiful? Or at the very least find beauty in.

For me Urban Decay is incredibly beautiful. War, and the struggle of the species to have a relationship as well.

Aged faces. Like, looking at old people and seeing underneath the layers of wrinkles and liver spots to the twenty-five-year-old beautiful young men and women they used to be. It’s really profoundly astounding to “uncover” somebody’s face like that. Like seeing through layers of tissue: you can see each piece individually and all pieces as one unit at the same time. Awesome.

It’s amazing where life will take hold.
