Because of an operation, my dad can't lift more than 5 lbs, so he needs help peeing

My dad recovered from a spinal operation and was well enough to visit for Christmas. He was describing the operation to us, and mentioned how he couldn’t lift anything heavier than 5 lbs. He added,

“…this means, when I have to pee, I need some help. Because, you know, I can’t lift it by myself”

The look on my cousin’s boyfriend (who was there for the first time) was priceless. :stuck_out_tongue:

He’s in good company! I had gall bladder surgery and a vasectomy on Wednesday and I can’t lift ten pounds for a month. I made that same joke last night

Gall bladder surgery AND a vasectomy?! Damn, sounds like they didn’t know when to stop cutting! :stuck_out_tongue:

What? They left your appendix in after all that?

I guess the two of you must have some really big, er um, toilet seats.

You had to know someone would post this link:

Well, at least your dad still has a sense of humor!

Oh no! Your poor cousin’s boyfriend!

Sense of humor seems to be intact, though!
