I think I’m pretty out of the loop with this show. I used to watch it regularly but then it moved to Sunday. I finally caught an episode of it a couple of weeks ago and noticed that Reggie is gone and has been replaced. What the hell? Where did Reggie go? Did the actress leave and they never explained (as if Reggie was never there–I mean, she did own the diner)? Or did they explain? I liked Reggie a lot better than this new woman.
The powers-that-be decided there was better “chemistry” between Becker and the new woman than between him and Reggie and they fired the actress playing Reggie.
Yeah but what happened? I tuned in last night too, for the first time in a while, and noticed she was gone. Did they ever explain in the show where she went?
They fired her? No way! I thought Reggie had better chemistry between all the cast members! I loved how she and Becker, along with Bob, mocked each other.
You must have missed the episode where Reggie died and the Diner-owner symbiant was transplanted into Christina. it was very sad.
Chris and Becker kiss. Becker goes to the diner and begins talking about it to Reggie. She leads him by the hand and they exit the diner, obviously intending to spend the night together. End of episode.
Next episode: Reggie is gone. She’s left a note that if she was so desperate as to go to bed with Becker, that meant her life was completely messed up and she needed a complete change. Becker tells Chris what happened and she wants nothing to do with him.
A later episode: Becker, obsessed with getting Chris back, visits her place of work, a clothing store. He’s so obnoxious to the customers that she gets fired.
A later episode: She takes over the diner.

You’re right. I was confusing her with The Drew Carey Show’s Christa “Kate” Miller, who left on her own.
Although I’m not exactly sure who fired Terry Farrell. It was probably either the producers or Paramount Television-I don’t think the networks themselves have the major input they did back in the Olde Days of Tele-vision.
She was the only reason I watched. Same with Christa Miller on The Drew Carey Show. Now Christa is on Scrubs, and I watch that.
Why did Christa leave Drew? That sucks.
Terry Farrell had, IMHO, the only worthwile character in Becker. I detest the show now, and don’t watch it anymore.
