I’m watching the Cards-Phillies game tonight (I’m not enjoying it yet, but it’s only the 5th) and I see a shot of a group of fans. Two of them are drinking something from what was clearly glass bottles. Now I’ve been in a lot of ball parks, though never in Philadelphia, and not a one of them allowed fans to have bottles. Is this different in Philadelphia, or did these guys manage to smuggle in these bottles?
When you buy beer at the Vet nowadays, you get these bottles instead - they’re not glass, IIRC, but plastic. They look just like the glass ones, though.
They are plastic, far as I know…and look like glass.
Very very unlikely it’s glass. There is a good usher to customer ratio at Phil’s games, especially in early innings.
