BEER!!

Thats right, in just 2 days, I am turning 21. Yeah yeah I kow all you Canuks dont have to wait that long, but whatever.

What a day to have your 21st birthday on anyways, Cinco De Mayo, one of the biggest days for partying with tequilla and margaritas on the west coast. Unfortunately I have to drive my parents to Sacramento the next day, a nice 2-3 hour trip early in the morning, so I wont be able to get totally plastered. Next time though.

Happy early birthday, fnord.

How you must be looking forward to the first beer of your life! Um, you have abided by the 21 year old drinking age this whole time, correct?

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that in may incriminate me.

I belive my first legal drink will be a Single Malt Scotch. Glenfiddich, Glenlevet, something tasty.

**Beer GOOOOOOD!!!

Napster BAAAAAAD!!!**

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I’ll be toasting you, fnord.

–That’s an expensive way to go if you haven’t developed a taste for the stuff neat.
Call this a personal observation. A $150 cognac would be wasted on me.
On the other hand, a pony keg on ice for a couple of days and a bunch of friends with plenty of free time…now that would be nice.

Only one day left.

Whoo Hooo!!

Well I made it, I had 2 Coronas (cinco de mayo and all that) and a Cutty Sark on the rocks, tasty tasty, then I went home and had some Remy Martin congac vsop that my mom got me in france, that tasted like ass. and so did the jagermiester that I had in the freezer.

I think I’ll stick to scotch.

whoo-hoo! Happy BDay!!
I remember a postcard a friend of mine sent me from Germany that had this little kid (about 7-8yo)on it and the kid was saying “I drink Jagermiester because my dealer’s in jail”. Love that.
I think I’ll have a beer in your honour tonight. (Like I need some sort of excuse of something)

Scotch on the rocks, please, any scotch will do. As long as it’s not a blend, of course. A single malt. Glenlivet, Glenfiddich perhaps. Maybe a Glengow. Any Glen.

Scotch is usually an aquired taste.
Are you sure you didn’t cheat a little;)

I’m still mad at the Canadian waitress who DIDN’T card me when I was 20 (and looked about 14) in Ottawa when I ordered my first legal drink. I mean, yeah, maybe I sound American, but geez, I would have enjoyed being carded. (Ah, the good old U.S.A., where you can be drafted and go off and DIE for your country but can’t buy a frigging BEER…)

Hope you had a nice birthday.
