BEHOLD! The AWESOME power of my CABLE modem!

That’s well and good, but I have the time to wait an extra 5-10 seconds.

I just got mine maybe two weeks ago. It’s like falling into a vat of chocolate! Critical updates are no longer a hassle, http://download.com is a fun place to be, and videos are there like that snap.

I highly recommend the free version of Zone Alarm. I have used it on Windows 98 as well as XP. They have versions with more bells and whistles for sale but the free version has taken care of all my needs for several years now and I have yet to have a single problem with it.

There’s always online games to play. Quake III has a good demo and there’s the mods for half-life too. File sharing programs are much, much better with a cable. Hmm… that’s all I can really think of.

Oh yes, all the free porn you can find.

I cannot wait until I get to college where I will be freed from the shackles of dialup (and the… insert name of other torturous device here… of AOHell!)

too bad no P2P allowed :frowning:

Better yet, you can watch MST3K itself!

As I understand it, hubs don’t. Most router/switch type things, like the Linksys BEFSR41 which I use, do. I could be wrong, and YMMV.
