Has anyone seen an eclipse of the moon by the sun ?
I expect that would be spectacular.
And probably fatal.
If the moon stayed put but the sun somehow came between it and the earth, the would be very dangerous. If the moon somehow traveled behind the sun it would not be that big a deal to normal life on earth.
The sun has a radius of approximately 700,000 km
The orbit of the moon is about 400,000 km so the sun would not fit between the earth and moon.
It would fit perfectly and still have 300,000 km to spare.

You don’t need to move any celestial bodies out of their current positions. Just travel to the opposite side of the Sun. The Sun could eclipse the Moon and the Earth at the same time.
