Bellydancing Videos

I’ve just started taking Belly Dancing classes and the teacher uses the style she was taught in “just follow me and you’ll get the hang of it!”. I’d like to get a good beginner tape that I could practice with and get the basic moves down - anyone have any suggestions?

I love Kathy Smith for all things exercise. She explains things very well. I believe she has a belly dancing workout.

I have The Goddess Workout: Introduction to Bellydance with Dolphina and it’s actually pretty good. She’s kind of annoying, but easy to follow.

Dolphina IS kind of annoying, but I’d second this recommendation.

Being half Lebanese I don’t belly dance but would love to! I found this video, kind of expensive but it’s highly recommended. It’s an introduction to belly dancing video. Have you tried going to amazon.com??
