Have you seen this commercial? It’s an aerobic workout that consists of bellydance moves. It starts with graceful hand and arm motions and progresses to belly undulations and vigorous hip shakes/shimmies.

I LOVE THIS! I think it is positively brilliant. Just in time for Christmas shopping too.

:mentally picturing my belly dance costume, I think I’d like lots of purple red and gold and coins and fringes, ooh and some of those cool anklets with all the little bells and stuff, and those finger cymbals oh Yeah!:

I’ve taken belly dancing lessons. It’s a riot! It’s sexy, it’s a more difficult workout than you would think, and it’s FUN! I get to wear a little scarf around my hips that jingles when I shake my booty. How can you beat that?

I have a Zeena and Neena Bellydance for exercise tape. I got it at a discovery store. It rocks!

I haven’t seen the ads, but I have a set of their tapes. Exercise tapes aren’t nearly as fun as a real class, but there are no belly-dancing classes in my area.

I took some classes earlier this year and LOVED them. I can definitely envision doing it as a lifelong hobby.
