Bent Hook, and other Captain Obvious real things

I saw a photo of a guy wearing a T-shirt with ‘Bent Hook’ on the front of it. Isn’t a hook, by definition, bent? Is a straight hook a hook? (I don’t need a history of Bent Hook, or have it pointed out that the shank of a hook can be bent. I’m just taking it at face value.)

There’s a ventilation company called Solar Star. Um… Yes. The sun is a star.

Others?

That T-shirt would make sense if the hook was straight.

Real product slogan - “Ozarka Water: It’s in the Water”

At first glance, “bent hook” appears to be a redundant phrase. However, a search of Google images returns this for “straight hook”: http://www.medfix.com/wp-content/uploads/straight-hook-web.jpg.

As for “solar star”, it’s a pun (I guess).

Hooks can be bent out of their intended shape, like this one that may have been bent by a shark.

These could also be considered bent hooks. There’s a rig for carp called a bent hook rig.

I am NOT Captain Obvious.

No actually after doing a lot of research ( and you probably can’t tell without repeating the research yourself), I discovered I AM Captain Obvious.
