I can’t believe it. This ingenious, outgoing, flambuoyant man killed himself yesterday. Every time I watched an episode of “Great Chefs of the World”, I hoped to see him, because he was just magnetic and infectiously overjoyed to share his love of food and cooking with an audience. Apparently, his huge ego was also quite fragile, because it looks like a downgrade by the Gault-Milau may have triggered this.
