I decided last night after I logged off that I really hate the themes from All In The Family. And now I can’t get the damn thing out of my head!
The worst theme music ever - and worst soundtrack, and possibly the worst score ever recorded - was from the short-lived Babylon 5 spinoff Crusade. Incredibly awful.
I grew up a huge Star Trek: TNG fan, but I never really thought the theme music was all that spectacular. Catchy, yes. Spectacular, no.
It’s no contest. Best theme song ever is the theme for The Texas Wheelers. They used John Prine’s “Illegal Smile.” The number of bonus points for choosing a song that glorifies marjuana use on a prime time network show (not to mention using a song by Prine) is infinite.
