Two Canadian artists feature in this list, Guess Who* and Mashmakhan*, the former sending two singles to the top of the chart in 1970.

This is for sure a much weaker list than the previous 1964-1969 list of number 1 singles I have been posting.

Only five seemed worthy to be voted for in my book:
Canadian natives Guess Who-“No Time”
The Carpenters-both entries
Sugar Loaf’s “Green Eyed Lady”
Mungo Jerry

There are several songs I like, but only “No Time” truly earned my vote.
