Hello - the Thread title says it all - what is a good, basic reference book on nutrituion? Not associated with a specific diet, or with an “agenda” to get me to eat raw food or some other thing.
Just good, basic information - such as which oils are good for you vs. bad, which packaged foods are the ones to avoid the most - stuff like that. I would prefer it if the book is easy to navigate so it can be used quickly - you know, right before shopping, or right when cooking a meal and I am trying to figure out what to use instead of fatty, bad ingredient X in some recipe…
