The Coke version was the original version and then the New Seekers released a non-commercial version after the success of the commercial.

One of my favorite albums of all time was from that period, '71, and features Dave Mason & Cass Elliot, but for some strange reason it never got the push to the airwaves and remains relatively unknown. It’s is though an absolute gem. Walk to the Point, Sit and Wonder, Something to Make you Happy and Too Much Truth, Too Much Love are incredible songs and would all fit very nicely with this collection.

Not nearly enough of these artists are on the no-fly list.

That song was the ‘soundtrack’ to my first coast to coast drive in college - has stayed with me for 40 years.

This is the song that immediately came to mind.

Let’s not forget “Green Tambourine”, by the Lemon Pipers. Just thinking of it gives me the munchies.
