An off-topic corollary: I umpire Little League baseball in my spare time. Last year in a game I did, one team (of slightly older kids, 13-14-ish) had a batter named Mike come up to the plate. As he stepped in, his teammates in the dugout all started to say “Mike? Mike?Mike?mike?mIke?” in a perfect imitation of the seagulls. It cracked me up.
