Best Microwave Popcorn Brand?

I like Act II or the store brand at Aldi (CottonTown). The only problem with CottonTown is that it doesn’t come in mini-bags. Who can stop half way through a full bag or would want to? Cousin Willie’s is my next choice. They have a good variety if you like flavors.

Am I the only one who makes popcorn anymore? Bulk popcorn, real butter, salt, in a paper bag, scrunch up the top, throw in the microwave. You can do it on the stovetop as well.

OK, I just tried this, and the paper bag caught on fire as soon as I put it on the stovetop, the butter melted down into the burner, and the popcorn popped all over the kitchen. Was that supposed to happen?

I like Target brand actually, the store brand at Target. It’s cheap and good.
