Some movies have a better first 10-15 minutes than the rest of the film. The grabber is supposed to keep you watching. Which films good or bad do you think have the best grabbers?

A Clockwork Orange. Once you see the milkbar and the first couple beatdowns, you know it’s going to be a compelling movie…and it is, for the most part.
I have to say that the new Dawn of the Dead is brilliant in this respect.
I also had very high hopes for Hellboy after the grabber.
Speilberg likes the grabber Saving Private Ryan, Jaws ** and Indiana Jones**
Star Wars (original movie) opened with a bang too
The nightclub grabber in Blade was so urgent and well done, the rest of the film seemed almost anti-climactic.
I own the DVD but I rarely watch it past the first 15 minutes.
