I’m having a devil of a time finding a front license plate holder for an '84 Chrysler LeBaron. I can’t find a way to narrow down my search to that specific part. And the local junkyards don’t have it.
And the dealer said, “We don’t have parts that old.” :wally

Try eBay. They have a whole auto parts section, and you can search.
No luck on Ebay. They have frames, but not the “mount” that attaches to the front bumper.
If you are trying to find the piece from the factory that mounts to the bumper, you are probably out of luck at any auto parts store. Because it is different for almost every car, the aftermarket probably won’t carry it.
Junkyard is about your only shot. You may have to find something that is similar and adapt it.
