For some reason I’m really enthralled when I look at lists and suddenly realize albums or movies ended up releasing around the same time and think “wow! June of 1982 (aka last month of Junior year in High School).

And if you go back to just before Memorial Day weekend, The Road Warrior had its American release in late May 1982.
And if you stretch a week or so after July 4th weekend, you got Tron. (which was very cool when I was 16, but, as I sadly found at the time of the sequel, did not age well)
The first week of June 1984 Star Trek III, Ghostbusters, and Gremlins all came out. The last two on the same day. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom had come out about a week before and the Karate Kid about a week later.
June 1989 was stuffed with Batman, Do the Right Thing, Ghostbusters II, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Star Trek V, Karate Kid III and Dead Poets Society. Plus Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade came out the last week of May.
