We, which is to say, my wife, is doing a radical cleaning of the children’s playroom and we have perhaps 200 Beanie babies to get rid of. I know they are not worth anything, but they are CUTE. Is there some kind of program, perhaps via the military, that these could be donated and then find their ways into the hands of little children, who would likely love them?
Toys for Tots has a annual Christmas drive sponsored by the Marines.
Take them by there. You’ll need to watch for the specific date. It’s always advertised heavily.
The web site has a search for drop off. Bigger cities may have full time drop offs. I’m not sure.

TfT might require new toys in original packaging; if these were “collected” and still new, that would probably work.
You might also be able to donate them to children’s hospitals.
Toys for Tots takes clean, used toys in good condition. I donated some about 10 years ago. Some people do donate new in the box toys too.
update just realized it takes two searches on their web site. First the state and then the city in the state.
My city doesn’t have a date announced yet. But probably will closer to Thanksgiving.
I’m afraid that Beanies for Baghdad is out of business my local high school is doing a toy drive at the end of the month, I need to start washing old toys.

Use a flat rate box from the post office- it is the cheapest way to get them there. You can pick out who you want to send them to.
I haven’t sent anything for a while, but it was a reputable organization.
Some local police departments provide stuffed animals (usually teddy bears) for officers give to children who are caught up in events and frightened. I’m trying to think of a program name and coming up short. But it’s a possibility.
Are there ANY that are worth money anymore?
According to eBay, no.
