Best way to learn German through the internet?

So I used to take a German studies class in highschool around a year ago, and I was interested in continuing studying German culture and language… but unfortunately, it never panned out… That was a couple years ago. I no longer have a decent grasp of the language, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion on re-learning the German language. I’d really appreciate websites, but books and audio-cassettes would suit me fine, too.

And this should have been in IMHO…

There is a pretty good online German course (made by the Goethe Institut together with the Deutsche Welle, which you can find here: German course. If that link doesn’t work, just look for it on the home page of Deutsche Welle at www.dw-world.de.

Off to IMHO.

There’s a free German course at wikibooks, but I don’t know how good it is.
