I may get boo’d down, but I love the “Jingle Bells” by the barking dogs.
I also love anything by “Carols by Kings College,” or whatever it’s called. They have a lot of medieval music that I don’t even care if it’s Christmas music; it’s beautiful. I first heard some of it when I was paid to perform as a juggler at a Renaissance Christmas dinner thing on college campus when I was in high school-- my first paid job that wasn’t delivering newspapers or babysitting-- I first realized how much people loved Christmas. I used to think they just capitulated because it was expected. I was kind of confused on the matter.
Anyway, I still kind of have mixed feeling about Christmas, personally, but I do have an appreciation of it. At least, I do understand that most people who celebrate it take it pretty seriously.
